At Colsman Forming, we use the pressing process specifically to manufacture rotationally symmetric components efficiently and cost-effectively. Our production is designed to ensure consistent quality, high process reliability, and flexible production batch sizes.
Our machine park includes four high-performance automatic press-forming machines with a maximum peak height of 350 mm. This allows us to cover a wide range of component geometries—from simple cones to complex contours, which are manufactured with multiple tool changes in a single setup. In some cases, we combine deep drawing and extrusion in-house within a single process chain to achieve optimal results.
We process steel and stainless steel up to a thickness of 4 mm. Thanks to our experience in metal forming, we achieve stable processes and reproducible results even with challenging materials.
Typical batch sizes range from 150 to 1,500 units per order. Thanks to automated processes, such as robotic assembly on our production lines, we manufacture cost-effectively, with process stability, and at a consistently high level of quality.

A key advantage of pressing is its relatively low tooling costs. This makes the process ideal for medium-volume production, variant manufacturing, and projects where flexibility and cost control are critical.
Whether it’s a prototype, pre-production run, or mass production—we’ll guide you every step of the way, from component design to the finished product. With our combination of cutting-edge technology and years of experience, we offer a reliable solution for your forming needs.
